AWARDS AND HONORS Miscellaneous: Missed parts of 1990-91 season with bruised rib cartilage,
an injury suffered during Vancouver's Oct. 12, 1990, game vs. St. Louis. He
did not return to action until Vancouver assigned him to Milwaukee (IHL) for
a conditioning stint on Nov. 19, 1990. He was finally recalled to the NHL
for the remainder of the season on Dec. 7, 1990. He did not play again in
the NHL until Vancouver's Dec. 18, 1990, game at Calgary. He scored his
first NHL goal in that game. ...
Missed part of 1990-91 season with severe contusion in right calf, an injury suffered
during Vancouver's Feb. 25, 1991, game vs. Calgary. The injury required
emergency surgery to save the leg because of a circulatory problem known as
compartment syndrome. He did
not return to action until Vancouver's March 26, 1991, game at Calgary. ...
