Education: Earned law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School at York
University in Toronto.
Miscellaneous: Returned to Toronto and became a lawyer after his
retirement, joining Blake, Cassels and Graydon, LLP, as a law student in 1990
and eventually rising to be one of the firm's partners. He began his practice
in March 1992, specializing in structured finance and business law with a
focus on commercial leasing law. Was recognized in the Lexpert Directory as
one of Canada's top lawyers in his field.
