Sherbrooke team that went on to win AHL playoff title, but was not with team
during postseason. Management Career: Became executive director of
the Professional Hockey Players Association after his retirement and remained
in that position into 2002-03 season. The group represents the interests of
minor-leaguers outside the NHL. Personal: Full name is Larry James
Landon. |
HOW HE GOT AWAY |
TRADE: Montreal traded Landon to Toronto in
exchange for future considerations (Gaston Gingras) in November 1984. The deal
was completed when Gingras went to Montreal on February 14, 1985. |
