and remained in that position through 2006-07 season.
Broadcasting Career: Served as Hartford radio color commentator for
several games while injured during 1988-89 and 1989-90 seasons.
Miscellaneous: Missed parts of 1979-80 season with ribcage injury,
suffered in March 1980, and with torn ligaments in left ring finger, an injury
that required surgery in March 1980. ... Missed part of 1981-82 season with
severely sprained left ankle, twisted left knee and facial lacerations,
injuries suffered when he crashed into the boards during Colorado's Jan. 4,
1982, practice. ... Was on Colorado team that relocated to New Jersey on
June 30, 1982. ... Traded by New Jersey with Steve Tambellini to Calgary for Phil Russell and Mel Bridgman on June 20, 1983. He never played
for Calgary franchise, which traded Quenneville and Richie Dunn to Hartford for Mickey Volcan just two weeks later on July 5, 1983. ... Missed
part of 1985-86 season with pulled stomach muscle, an injury suffered during
Hartford's Dec. 16, 1985, game at Montreal. ... Missed
most of 1986-87 season with broken right shoulder clavicle, an injury suffered
during Hartford's Dec.
18, 1986, game vs. Boston. ... Missed part of 1988-89 season with separated
shoulder, an injury suffered during Hartford's Jan. 19, 1989, game vs.
