thumb, an injury suffered during Minnesota's Nov. 6, 1989, game at Toronto.
He did not return to North Stars lineup until late November and did not
play until Minnesota's Dec. 14, 1989, game vs. Pittsburgh . ... Fined
$500 by NHL during 1989-90 season for his role in a brawl prior to the start
of Minnesota's Dec. 28, 1989, game at Chicago. The suspension was announced
on Jan. 6, 1990. ... Missed part of 1989-90 season with sprained knee and
ankle as well as slight concussion, injuries suffered during Minnesota's
Jan. 24, 1990, game at Toronto. He did not return to the North Stars lineup
until mid-March and did not play until Minnesota's March 31, 1990,
game at St. Louis. ... Traded by Minnesota to Vancouver for future
considerations on Sept. 7, 1990, but never played for parent team. ...
Signed with St. Louis as an unrestricted free agent on Aug. 7, 1991. ...
Gave up his No. 26 sweater and switched to No. 23 during the 1993-94 season
