goaltender Clint Malarchuk to cut Washington's lead to 2-1. One minute
later, Brian Mullen scored to give the Rangers a 2-2 tie. ... Missed part of
N.Y. Rangers' 1990 training camp and start of 1990-91 regular season with
pulled groin, an injury initially suffered during a flag football game at
N.Y. Rangers' training camp at Glens Falls, N.Y., on Sept. 14, 1990, and

McKim in the head, causing McKim to suffer brain damage and a sprained back,
which led to his retirement. Although Miller was not sanctioned at the time
of the incident, McKim pressed charges that ultimately led Swiss judge Hans-Juerg
Zatti to give Miller a suspended three-month jail sentence plus an order to
pay McKim 10,000 Swiss francs. Miller was also ordered to repay McKim 100
percent of the money he had lost as a result of early retirement--as was to
be determined by a Swiss court. The punishment was not announced until
September 2005--nearly five years after the elbowing incident. Personal: Full name is
