penalty minutes by a right wing with 218 in 1986-87. ... Missed part of
1987-88 season with torn ligaments in right knee, an injury suffered during
Pittsburgh's Dec. 2, 1987, game vs. N.Y. Islanders. The injury required
surgery on Dec. 4, 1987, and Frawley did not return to action until
Pittsburgh's Feb. 4, 1988, game vs. Minnesota. ... Gave up Pittsburgh
captaincy to Mario Lemieux while out with injury in December 1987. ... Missed
part of 1987-88 season with leg injury, suffered during Pittsburgh's March 20,
1988, game at Philadelphia. ... Signed with Buffalo as unrestricted free agent
