signed with parent team and became an unrestricted free agent after the
1984-85 season. ... Missed part of 1984-85 season with broken right hand, an
injury suffered in November 1984. ... Invited to Boston's 1985 training camp
on tryout agreement. ... Signed with Boston as unrestricted free agent on Oct. 1,
1985. ... Fought Dave Brown at 16:56 of first period in his first NHL game,
which was played in his hometown of Boston. ... Missed remainder of 1986-87
season and entire 1987 playoffs with groin injury, suffered during Boston's
March 26, 1987, game vs. Edmonton. ... Missed part of 1988 playoffs with
sprained ligaments in right knee, suffered in Game 3 of Boston's first-round
series at Buffalo on April 9, 1988. ... Suspended one game by NHL during
1988-89 season for receiving his third game misconduct of season in March 1989
