Angeles while Charlie Simmer was injured in 1981-82. ... Set Los Angeles record (since broken) for goals by a rookie
with 33 in 1981-82. ... Scored tying goal with five seconds left in third
period as Los Angeles came back from a 5-0 deficit and went on to beat
Edmonton 6-5 in overtime of the greatest single-game comeback in playoff
history during Game 3 of first-round series on April 10, 1982 in Los Angeles.
The game is now known as the "Miracle on Manchester." ... Missed part of 1982-83 season with sprained left knee,
