Played two regular-season games for Calgary team that went to 1986 Stanley Cup finals, but was not with team during postseason.
Miscellaneous: Was first 1962-born player selected in 1980 NHL Entry Draft and was youngest player ever drafted by St. Louis up to that point in time (record since broken). He was still 17 on draft day. ... Missed start of 1982-83 season with sprained ankle, an injury suffered during St. Louis' final preseason game at Chicago on Oct. 3, 1982. ... Missed parts of 1984-85 season with bruised knee, an injury suffered in December 1984, and with sprained ankle, an injury suffered in February 1985. ... Wore No. 25 in Chicago's 1987 training camp.

HOW HE GOT AWAY
TRADE: St. Louis traded Wilson, Joe Mullen and Terry Johnson to Calgary for Eddy Beers, Charlie Bourgeois and Gino Cavallini on February 1, 1986. Three years later, St. Louis got Wilson back when he signed with Blues as unrestricted free agent on July 19, 1989.
