Miscellaneous: Missed start of 1987-88 season with sprained left knee
ligaments, suffered in Boston's Sept. 28, 1987, preseason game vs. N.Y.
Islanders. He was unable to begin his
season until Dec. 25, 1987, when he was assigned to Maine (AHL) for conditioning stint and then recalled to Boston on Jan. 5, 1988. ... Missed parts of 1987-88 season with
re-aggravation of left knee injury, suffered during Boston's Feb. 13, 1988,
game at Vancouver. ... Missed remainder of 1987-88 season with inflamed left
kneecap, an injury suffered in March 1988. |
