Rangers after graduating from Colorado College in 1978. Instead he jumped to
the WHA with New England. When the NHL and WHA merged in 1979, N.Y. Rangers
chose not to take Warner back in the NHL Reclaim Draft on June 9, 1979. His
rights stayed with Hartford, his last WHA team. |
