Miscellaneous: Was on Baltimore (WHA) team that
folded after 1974-75 season. His rights were acquired by Calgary (WHA) in a
special draft of players from defunct teams. ... Appeared in opening scene of
the movie Slap Shot as member of visiting team (the Presidents).
Wearing No. 2, he collides with real-life Johnstown teammate Vern Campigatto
(No. 14) on play that allows the home team (Charlestown Chiefs) to score its
first goal of the game. He got into the movie because he was on the 1975-76
Johnstown Jets team that contributed several extras to the production during
