The brawl broke out after Rochester's Kevin Kerr bit Binghamton's Ed Kastelic on the hand during a fight. Tuer, earlier ejected from the game for fighting, heard about the brawl in the dressing room and came out to join it.
Personal: Full name is Allan T. Tuer. ... Also known as Allan Tuer during his playing days.
HOW HE GOT AWAY
FREE AGENCY: Los Angeles did not offer Tuer a contract after the 1985-86 season, and he became an unrestricted free agent. He signed with the Edmonton organization on August 18, 1986, although he never played for the parent team.
