Suspended from coaching and from having any contact with London players by OHL for remainder of 2000-01 regular season on Nov. 8, 2000. The suspension and a $10,000 fine resulted from league's determination that Hunter had told some of his players to attack specific Guelph players during an Oct. 25, 2000, game in London when Hunter was serving as the team's interim head coach. The fine was the highest in OHL history to date (record since broken).
