Buffalo. He did not miss any games with the injury. ... Missed part of
1983-84 season with sprained ligaments in right knee, and injury suffered
during Boston's March 8, 1984, game vs. Calgary. ... Missed entire 1984
playoffs with bruised left shoulder, an injury suffered during Boston's

Boston's March 26, 1988, game vs. Quebec. He did not return to action until
Game 1 of Boston's first-round playoff series vs. Buffalo on April 6, 1988,
but re-aggravated the injury in that game. He did not return to action again
until Game 4 of Boston's Stanley Cup Finals series vs. Edmonton on May 24,
1988. ... Missed Boston's entire 1988 training camp and start of 1988-89
season while recovering from Sept. 17, 1988, arthroscopic surgery on left
knee. ... Missed all of 1988-89 regular season and entire 1989 playoffs with
strained abdominal muscle, an injury suffered during the 1987-88 season
which flared up after Markwart returned to Bruins on Oct. 29, 1988. He
played one game with Maine (AHL) before pain in the abdomen forced him out
of the lineup. The injury required surgery in July 1989. ... Missed Boston's
entire 1989 training camp and start of 1989-90 season while recovering from
abdominal surgery. He did not make his 1989-90 season debut until Boston's
Oct. 13, 1989, game at Edmonton. ... Missed remainder of 1989-90 season and
entire 1990 playoffs with dislocated left shoulder, an injury suffered
during Boston's Oct. 29, 1989, game at Montreal. He re-aggravated the
injury, fracturing the shoulder, during Boston's practice on Nov. 13, 1989,
and required season-ending surgery on Nov. 18, 1989. Additional surgery was
performed on Feb. 20, 1990. ... Missed part of 1991-92 season with twisted
