on Feb. 16, 1984, playing only road games for final six weeks of 1983-84
season. Despite adversity, the team went on to win the league's playoff title.
... Moved to Midland, Mich., after retirement and became athletic director of
Midland (Mich.) High School as well as manager of the Midland Civic Arena.
