Draft. He was claimed by Los Angeles on Oct. 5, 1987. The Kings wanted Tookey
for their AHL affiliate in New Haven, but he had to clear recallable waivers
first. When Philadelphia attempted to claim Tookey off recallable waivers, the
Kings recalled him and let him begin his 1987-88 season in Los Angeles. ...
