Brooks called him a "baby" and a "spoiled rich kid," in a between-periods tirade that shook up the team. ... Scored winning goal for Team USA vs. Finland in Olympic gold-medal game on Feb. 24, 1980. The goal broke a 2-2 tie at 6:05 of the third period. ... Worked as stock broker in New York during summer of 1984. ... Became a financial broker after retirement, beginning his career with Morgan Stanley in 1985, then working for Bear Stearns and U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray, where he was managing director. Joined Minneapolis office of ThinkEquity Partners in March 2002 as Principal and became firm's Head of Trading. ... Named one of the 50 greatest players in University of Minnesota hockey history as part of "Legends on Ice" tribute in 2001.
