rotator cuff, an injury suffered in December 1980 that also ended his career.
... Went into business of developing products for hockey fans after
retirement, and in the early 1990s he created a system called "Fan Phone" that
enabled fans to receive birthday and other special-event messages from their
favorite sports stars. The product's "Gift Package" now includes greeting
cards and e-mail as well as phone calls. Consolidated "Fan Phone" product into
a company called ProWish in 1994, becoming its president and CEO. ProWish also
does extensive charity work, raising money at benefits featuring sports stars. |
