Missed part of 1978-79 season with severed tendon and damaged nerves in right
middle finger. ... Left unprotected by Detroit for 1979 NHL Expansion
Draft, but was reclaimed by team as fill-in after Al Cameron was taken off
roster on June 13, 1979. ... Missed part of 1979-80 season with fractured tailbone
suffered in Detroit's game against Colorado on Jan. 16, 1980. ... Missed part
of 1982-83 season with broken jaw suffered in Quebec's exhibition game against
Soviet Union on Dec. 30, 1982. ... Missed one game in 1983-84 season with knee
sprain suffered in Montreal's Dec. 4, 1983, game at Buffalo. ... Injured eye
in playoff brawl between Montreal and Quebec on April 20, 1984, when he was
punched by Quebec's Louis Sleigher. ... Was set to play for Montreal in
1984-85, but was hit in left eye by a Ken Linseman clearing shot in Montreal's
exhibition game against Boston on Oct. 4, 1984. He was hospitalized on the
night of the injury and remained in the hospital for a week. The injury, which
cost him 90 percent of the vision in his eye, required surgery and ended his
career. |

assistant coach prior to 1987-88 season and remained in that position until
end of season. ... Named Sherbrooke (AHL) head coach prior to 1988-89 season
and remained in that position through 1989-90 season. ... Named Drummondville
(QMJHL) head coach prior to 1990-91 season and remained in that position
through 1993-94 season. ... Named Victoriaville (QMJHL) head coach prior to
1994-95 season and remained in that position until Oct. 30, 1995. ... Served
as head coach of Asbestos (Quebec Sr.) in 1999-2000. Management Career:
