Butler. ... Missed part of 1977-78 season after having elbow surgery. ... Played on Philadelphia team that set NHL record with 35-game unbeaten streak from Oct. 14, 1979, to Jan. 6, 1980.

with hypnosis and electricity jolts to numb nerves, but was ultimately forced
to have season-ending spinal-fusion surgery on Jan. 30, 1981. ... Voted by
