Got his first NHL point by assisting on Marcel Dionne's goal in Los Angeles' April 5, 1986, game vs. Vancouver. ... Wore No. 14 at Los Angeles' 1986 training camp. ... Traded by Winnipeg with Brent Hughes and Simon Wheeldon to Washington in exchange for Bob Joyce, Tyler Larter and Kent Paynter on May 21, 1991, but never played for parent team. ... Signed with N.Y. Rangers as an unrestricted free agent on Sept. 4, 1992.

Traded by Sudbury (OHL) with Sean Evoy to Cornwall in exchange for Jeff Smith, Mike Rouleau and Mike Patrick in December 1985. ... Played on line with Mike Stapleton and Ray Sheppard for Cornwall in 1985-86. The three were the league's highest-scoring line for that season. ... Finished seventh in OHL with 110 points in 1985-86. ... Named OHL Leyden Division's second-best defensive forward and third-best checker in 1985-86 poll of league coaches. ... Assigned to New Haven for 1986 AHL playoffs after playing last two games of 1985-86 regular-season with Los Angeles. ... Missed part of 1986-87 season with deep bruise in leg, an injury suffered during Cornwall's Nov. 23, 1986, game at Hamilton. ... HOW HE GOT AWAY
TRADE: Los Angeles traded Duncanson to Minnesota in exchange for Daniel Berthiaume  on September 6, 1990. The deal was part of a three-way trade with Winnipeg, which then traded Brian Hunt to Minnesota in exchange for Duncanson, also on September 6, 1990.
