Unsigned. Would not be eligible for free agency until he has completed three years of college in 2018.

Additional Information

Will enter the University of Minnesota as a freshman in fall of 2015. He had originally committed to attend Minnesota on Nov. 27, 2013, and was eligible to be part of the 2014-15 freshman class. However, he delayed his college entry to further develop his game with an additional season in BCHL and eventually get more playing time with the Gophers, who were already loaded at forward for the 2014-15 season.

Family: Son of former NHL player Mike Ramsey, who was also a member of the 1980 U.S. Olympic "Miracle on Ice" team and was inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in 2001. ... Younger brother of University of Minnesota women's hockey All-American player Rachel Ramsey.

USA Hockey Experience

2012:Was invited by USA Hockey to take part in the annual Select-17 camp, held from June 23-29, 2012, at Rochester, N.Y., as one of top 54 players in his age group.

Miscellaneous:

Left Minnetonka HIgh School after his junior year to pursue development in the BCHL. Played for Team Mullen at the 2013 All-American Prospects Game at Pittsburgh. Grew up in Minnesota while his father served as Wild assistant coach from 2000-01 to 2009-10. Says he patterns his game after NHL players Ryan Callahan and Andrew Shaw.
