HOW HE GOT AWAY
TRADE: Boston traded MacLeish and Danny Schock to Philadelphia in exchange for Mike Walton on February 1, 1971. Deal was part of three-way trade which enabled Toronto to acquire Bernie Parent. Boston's original deal sent Schock to Philadelphia in exchange for future considerations (the delivery of Walton). When Philadelphia came through with Walton (after acquiring him in the Parent deal), Boston added MacLeish to complete trade for Walton.
