was still with team when it entered Division I (MAAC) in 1998, and remained
in that position through 2002-03 season. ... Named Connecticut Whalers (U.S.
Jr. B) head coach prior to inaugrual 2003-04 season and remained in position
through 2004-05 season. ... Named Connecticut Clippers 1991 (U.S. bantam)
head coach in March 2005 and remained in that position into 2005-06 season.
Management Career: Founded Connecticut Whalers (U.S. Jr. B) program
in 2003 and was team's president through 2004-05 season.
Education: Majored in sociology at Merrimack, graduating in
1991.
Miscellaneous: Wore No. 14 at Merrimack. ... Missed first semester of
junior season (1986-87) because he had to raise grades to remain on hockey
team. ... Missed most of 1990-91 season with knee injury that
eventually required career-ending reconstructive surgery. ... Was as program
