1986-87: Played seven regular-season games for Rochester team that
went on to win AHL playoff title, but missed postseason due to injury.
Miscellaneous: Missed remainder of 1986-87 season with separated
shoulder, suffered when checked by Ed Kastelic during
Rochester's Nov. 1, 1986, game at Binghamton. ... Became part-owner and
director of youth hockey programs at Westminster Ice Arena in Westminster,
Calif., in 2001. Working at the rink, he ran Gasseau-Nikulin Hockey School
and coached youth hockey. ... Active in the Southern California Amateur
Hockey Association, serving as president of L.A. Hockey.
