Assists Leader: 1995 (2, tie) 1993-94: Played on first Dallas Stars team after franchise relocated
from Minnesota. His brother Neal was also on 1993-94 Stars team.
Miscellaneous: Shifted from his natural position of center to playing
right wing with N.Y. Rangers as a rookie in 1989-90. He would remain a
full-time right wing for the rest of his NHL career. ... Missed start of
1990-91 season with pulled thigh muscle, an injury suffered during N.Y.
Rangers' training camp in September 1990. He did not make his 1990-91 NHL
regular-season debut until N.Y. Rangers' Oct. 19, 1990, game at New Jersey.
... Beat Calgary goalie Mike Vernon on his first NHL penalty-shot
attempt on Jan. 16, 1992, at New York. ... Named Dallas Player of Month for
February 1995. ... Traded by Minnesota to St. Louis in exchange for Guy
