return to action until N.Y. Rangers' Nov. 11, 1985, game vs. Chicago. ...
Missed start of 1986-87 season with broken left thumb, an injury suffered
during N.Y. Rangers' training camp in October 1986. He did not make his
1986-87 NHL regular-season debut until N.Y. Rangers' Oct. 29, 1986, game at
St. Louis. ... Returned from spending 1987-88 season in Finland to sign
with N.Y. Islanders as an unrestricted free agent on June 1, 1988. ...
