scout for Western Canada in September 1997, prior to team's inaugural 1998-99
season, and remained in that position until April 16, 2002.
Management Career: Named Nashville assistant director of amateur
scouting on April 16, 2002 remained in position through 2002-03 season.
1992-93: Played on Los Angeles team that went to 1993 Stanley Cup
Finals, but was team's spare goaltender during postseason and did not appear
in any playoff games.
Miscellaneous: Reached NHL after 14 year-wait -- in which he played 522
minor-league games --
when he signed with Los Angeles as unrestricted free agent on Feb. 16, 1993.
The Kings had to trade future (cash) considerations to San Diego (IHL) to
secure Knickle's rights. |
