Quebec Merite Entrain Trophy (Best Conditioned):
1981-82 (co-winner with Michel Goulet)
Miscellaneous: His first NHL game was also first in Quebec/Colorado NHL franchise history. The game was played in Lacroix's hometown of Quebec City, and Lacroix had two assists, including one on first goal in Quebec/Colorado NHL franchise history (by Real Cloutier at 9:51 of third period). ... Was only 1979 fifth-round selection to become an NHL regular in 1979-80. ... Missed part of 1980-81 season with shoulder injury, suffered in Quebec's Jan. 4, 1981, game at N.Y. Rangers. The injury required surgery. ... Missed entire 1983-84 and 1984-85 seasons while recovering from perforated aorta and other injuries suffered in a July 1, 1983, auto accident in Quebec. The multiple injuries required extensive surgery. The accident ended his NHL career, although he was able to resume playing two years later in Europe.
