HOW HE GOT AWAY |
RETIREMENT/FREE AGENCY: Naslund retired from
the NHL on May 4, 1990, so that he could return to Europe and play for the
Swiss team Lugano. After two years outside the NHL, he became an unrestricted
free agent. He eventually signed with Boston on February 21, 1995. |
