Very slim pickings for games ivolving prospects on Monday, and certainly not enough to merit a "Stars of the Night" list.

But it would be a mistake to overlook a couple of performances, so,for the record, here are two "honorable mention" guys who have not yet been featured in this space this season.

The first is Otar Sakhokiya of the MHL's St. Petersburg Silver Lions. He posted two assists as his team rolled to a 6-0 shutout at Riga. Sakhokiya, who gets limited icetime, came up big with an assist on the game's first goal -- the winning goal -- at 9:53 of the opening period. He later had the lone assist on a goal that made it 5-0 at 16:53 of the period.

The other draft-eligible player worth mentioning is Matthew Kellenberger of the OJHL's Oakville Blades. He scored on a power play at 1:38 of the third period to draw Oakville into a 1-1 tie with host Cobourg. The Blades settled for a 2-2 tie after two scoreless overtimes. Kellenberger, a defenseman overshadowed in the OJHL by potential first-rounder Jack McBain, has quietly recorded 14 points in 16 games this season.
