Played 40 regular-season games for 1970-71 Springfield team that went on to win AHL Calder Cup after he had been traded out of Los Angeles organization. ... Scored a game-winning goal for Minnesota in his NHL debut, beating Chicago goaltender Gary Smith for a 2-1 lead in a game that the visiting North Stars went on to win 5-1.
