Significant Injuries

Missed remainder of 1974-75 season with eye injury, suffered when hit in the left eye by a Dennis Kearns slapshot during Kansas City's Dec. 14, 1974, game  vs. Vancouver. The injury effectively ended his career. ... Broke nose in his first and only AHL game with Springfield, the final pro game of his career, in 1975.

Selected by Minnesota Fighting Saints in 1972 WHA Draft, the first WHA Draft, February 1972. Was first graduate of Minnesota's Roseau High School to play in the NHL. Worked on a farm and was licensed pilot during off-seasons of his professional playing days. Played one game for Springfield (AHL) during attempt to come back from eye injury in 1975-76.
