AWARDS AND HONORS Miscellaneous: Signed one-year contract with Washington for $110,000 plus
incentive bonuses in August 1982. ... Scored goal and had two assists in first NHL game. His goal beat N.Y. Rangers goalie Ed Mio at 7:09 of the
third period, enabling Washington to tie game at 4-4. Washington went on to
win 5-4 when Mike Gartner scored with 1:50 remaining. ... Released
by Washington after having played only one season in June 1983 because he had difficulty adjusting to the
NHL style of play and wanted to continue his career back in Europe. |
