Miscellaneous: Left unprotected by N.Y. Islanders in 1979 NHL Expansion
Draft, but was reclaimed as fill-in after Gerry Hart was taken off N.Y.
Islanders roster on June 13, 1979. ... Missed start of 1981-82 season with
broken knuckle in left hand, an injury suffered while fighting during one of
Colorado's Oct. 3, 1981, preseason game at Winnipeg. ... Missed remainder of
1981-82 season with separated shoulder, an injury suffered in a fight with Jim Pavese during Colorado's Nov. 28, 1981, game at St. Louis. The injury required
season-ending surgery on Jan. 4, 1982. ... Was on Colorado team that relocated to New Jersey on

time after 1984-85 season but came out of retirement to play and coach in New Brunswick
senior league from 1987 to 1991. ... Returned to Saint John, N.B., after his
