organization when team relocated to Cleveland on Aug. 26, 1976. ... Was
property of Cleveland team that folded after the 1977-78 season and merged
with Minnesota while Sandbeck was playing in WHA. When the NHL and WHA merged
in 1979, Minnesota took him back from Edmonton in the NHL Reclaim Draft on
June 9, 1979, but he never played for parent team. |

remainder of 1977-78 season after completing his NCAA eligibility at Denver in
March 1978. ... Ended career at Denver with school record (since broken) of
250 penalty minutes. ... Returned to Colorado after his retirement and became
involved in the tool rental and business as co-founder and manager of Grand
Rental Station in Trinidad, Colo.
