Western Ontario.
Career Beyond Hockey: Returned
to hometown of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, after completing his
education and became a civil servant. He spent roughly 25 years as an
executive at the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines and Forestry,
and the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corp. before taking over as
executive director of
Sault Ste. Marie Economic
Development Corporation's business division (Business Sault Ste.
Marie) in July 2010. He also served
as EDC's interim CEO in 2010-11.
