- Was a member of the 1970-71 Laurentian University Voyageurs team that won the OIAA championship and the CIAU Consolation final over University of British Columbia. In 2008, Cummins and his 1970-71 Laurentian teammates were inducted into the school's Alumni Voyageur Hall of Fame.
