unrestricted free agent in August 1985, but never played for parent team. ... Signed with N.Y. Rangers as
unrestricted free agent on Dec. 13, 1985, but never played for parent team. |

HOW HE GOT AWAY |
RIGHTS SOLD/TRADE: Minnesota sold the rights to
Dobson and Kevin Maxwell to Colorado on December 31, 1981. Just under a year
later, Minnesota got Dobson back when he signed as an unrestricted free agent
on Sept. 20, 1982. Minnesota lost Dobson again when it traded him to Quebec in
exchange for Jay Miller on June 29, 1983. |
