N.Y. Rangers in 1979-80. ... Missed remainder of 1979-80 season with right
knee injury, suffered during N.Y. Rangers' March 25, 1980, game vs. Buffalo.
The injury required surgery during summer of 1980. ... Became first NHL player
to score a goal in New Jersey Devils' arena at Meadowlands when he scored for
N.Y. Rangers in exhibition game vs. Philadelphia goaltender Pelle Lindbergh on
Sept. 29, 1981. ... Missed part of 1983-84 season with groin pull, an injury
suffered in November 1983. ... Released by Hartford in June 1984 and signed
with New Jersey as unrestricted free agent on July 11, 1984. ... Missed part
of 1984-85 season with groin injury suffered during New Jersey's Jan. 25,
1985, game at Edmonton. ... Missed part of 1985-86 season with bruised
tailbone, an injury suffered during New Jersey's Dec. 14, 1985, game at
Quebec. ... Was New Jersey's nominee for 1986-87 Masterton Trophy. ... Missed
