discs after his hockey career. The illness, which required multiple surgeries,
left him bed-ridden for years and would plague him for the rest of his life,
yet he managed to play in the 2002 "Miracle on Ice" reunion game against
doctor's orders. ... Worked as a restaurant manager in Rochester Hills, Mich.,
after his retirement from hockey, but left that business due to deterioration
of his back. ... Retired to Northern Michigan in his early 40s and started his
own website at www.miracleonice.net. |
