Personal: Older brother of former minor-leaguer Dave Stoyanovich.
HOW HE GOT AWAY
TRADE: N.Y. Islanders traded Stoyanovich to Hartford in exchange for a 1985 fifth-round pick (Tommy Hedlund) on August 19, 1983.
