HOW HE GOT AWAY
TRADE: Minnesota traded Maxwell and Brent Ashton to Quebec in exchange for Tony McKegney and Bo Berglund on December 14, 1984. Just over two years later, Minnesota got Maxwell back, receiving him from N.Y. Rangers for future considerations on February 21, 1987.
