1978-79 (co-winner with Greg Millen)
Pittsburgh Playoffs Goals Leader: 1980 (2, tie)
1977-78: Played two regular-season games for Montreal team that went on to win Stanley Cup, but was not with team in postseason.
Miscellaneous: Montreal traded Schutt to Washington in exchange for Pierre Bouchard in October 1978. Schutt reported to Washington's 1978 training camp and began practicing with the Caps, but the NHL vetoed the deal because it violated rules of the waiver draft. Bouchard had been selected off Montreal's roster in the waiver draft. Washington tried to trade Bouchard back to Montreal, but the NHL ruled that he had to clear waivers before such a deal could be made. ... Played on line with Peter Lee and Greg Malone for Pittsburgh from 1978-79 through 1980-81. ... Retired due to chronic back pain.
