NHL AWARDS AND HONORS
Miscellaneous:
Scored goal 3:02 into first period of his first NHL game. ... Played on "Kid Line" with Greg Malone and Wayne Bianchin for Pittsburgh in 1976-77. ... Missed end of 1980-81 regular season with bruised knee suffered during St. Louis' March 24, 1981, game vs. N.Y. Islanders, but returned in time for playoffs. ... Missed most of 1981-82 season with ruptured disc in back, an injury that required surgery on Dec. 14, 1981. He suffered the injury when he tripped over goaltender Glenn Resch after scoring a goal in St. Louis' Nov. 14, 1981, game at Colorado. Did not return to action with St. Louis until end of 1982 playoffs.
