Missed part of 1978-79 season after suffering injury in Minnesota's 1978
training camp. ... Retired for first time in September 1979 after failing to
make Edmonton roster out of 1979 training camp. Stayed out of hockey in
1979-80 season, instead working in a Minnesota sporting goods store. Decided
he missed the game and returned to Edmonton for 1980 training camp. |
