HOW HE GOT AWAY
TRADE: Kansas City traded Bourne to N.Y. Islanders in exchange for rights to Larry Hornung, who was playing in the WHA, and future considerations on Sept. 10, 1974. N.Y. Islanders sent Bart Crashley to Kansas City to complete the deal on Sept. 16, 1974.
