be selected in first round of an NHL draft. ... Missed part of 1982-83 season with sprained right wrist,
an injury he suffered in October 1982. ... Did not appear in 1984 Stanley Cup
Finals for Edmonton, although he did appear in postseason and had name
inscribed on Cup. ... His Edmonton contract expired on July 1, 1984, but
Edmonton invited him to 1984 training camp with opportunity to play himself back into
NHL. He declined the offer and chose to retire. |

retirement in 1992 to play four games for Los Angeles Jets of Pacific
Southwest Hockey League, a senior-level league also known as the Southern
California Senior Hockey League. ... Lived in Florida and New York before
returning to Southern California after his retirement. ... Got involved in
hockey arena management as well as the boat business, owning and operating
Back Bay Marine in Newport Beach, Calif. ... Became president of Strong Side
Sports, a company which focused on hockey arena and marina management. The
company played a big role in developing the Disney Ice facility in Anaheim,
Calif. ... Worked in several charitable causes, including an Amateur Athletic
Foundation grant program that brought hockey to underprivileged children in
